My Pilates studio business clients have a sales cycle of approximately 15 minutes.

As in: they do a google search for "Pilates Berkeley, CA" and find our website at the very top of their search (our google search ranking is extremely high because of how I've designed our website.)

Then we convert them from website scroller to front door offer buyer (again because our website freaking rocks.)

Simple, clean, efficient.

But my coaching clients... that's a whole other ball of wax.

A typical small business owner client hangs out in my world for about 2 years before they feel safe enough to buy a digital course or coaching package. TWO YEARS!!

So my approach for my small business owner clients is completely different than for my brick-and-mortar wellness business.

For them, I show up on social media and in their email inbox at least 4x week, week in and week out, and deliver value in all kinds of ways for free so they can understand how my work can transform their life and bank account.

But no matter the sales platform or the process of moving them from prospect to buyer - the underlying theme is ALWAYS the same.

Sales in a small business like mine and yours are about developing a trustworthy and compatible relationship between you/your brand and your client. Period, end of story.

Like in any good relationship, you have to:

* put yourself out there

* demonstrate who you really are

* be a good listener

* communicate clearly, and

* be consistent in the ways you're showing up

I'd love to teach you this art of building authentic and mutually beneficial relationships as a pathway to create more sales in your business, in an ethical and trauma-informed way.
